Diverse Africa was started in 2010 by Simon Stobbs. His desire to share the diversity of Africa with others is what prompted him to open Diverse Africa.

Simon became a game ranger at Sabi Sabi, one of South Africa’s top private game lodges in 1999. Since then he has remained in the tourism industry working as a guide at lodges, leading private safaris, training guides and also working on the sales and marketing side for Wilderness Safaris. He has extensive knowledge of Southern Africa and his travels have taken him to Botswana, Namibia, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, Tanzania, Kenya and South Africa. His knowledge, together with his personal approach in dealings with people, makes Diverse Africa the perfect choice when looking for advice on travel in Southern Africa.
