3 Nights – Victoria Falls

This 3-night itinerary is the perfect way to explore Victoria Falls. The Zambezi River forms the border between Zimbabwe and Zambia and as such, the Falls can be accessed from either Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe or Livingstone in Zambia. There are a wide variety of accommodation options available on both sides of the river.

  • A “7 Wonder of the World”
  • Great photography
  • Stunning scenery
  • Activities galore

Day 1

You will depart mid-morning from OR Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg on a scheduled flight to either Livingstone or Victoria Falls. Both flights arrive shortly after midday. After clearing customs and immigration, you will be transferred by road to the lodge/hotel where you will be staying.

You will arrive at your destination shortly after lunch which will allow you time to settle into your room before the afternoon activity departs.

Today we recommend that you venture out on a sundowner cruise on the Zambezi River. This is the perfect way to get a taste for the area. The birdlife on the river is fantastic and you will also have a chance to view animals such as hippopotamus, elephant and crocodiles.

Drinks will be enjoyed on the river as the sun slips below the hills in the west. You will return to the lodge shortly after sunset where dinner will be enjoyed.

Days 2 & 3

There are a wide variety of activities available in and around Victoria Falls. A guided tour of Victoria Falls is a must-do activity. As far as other activities go, there are helicopter flips over the Falls, day trips to Chobe National Park, game drives and walks in both the Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park in Zambia and the Zambezi National Park in Zimbabwe. For the really adventurous, activities like bungee-jumping and white-water rafting (seasonal) are available.

Day 4

After a morning activity and breakfast, you will be transferred by road to either Victoria Falls International Airport or Livingstone International Airport for your onward flight.
